Job description

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for guests Join our team at Fairmont Banff Springs as a Front Desk Reception Agent where you will be at the forefront of our guest experience.

Starting Rate : $19.59 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $24.93.

Job Duties Include :

Reporting to the Front Desk Manager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :

  • Provide professional friendly and engaging service to all guests
  • Greet check in / out settle accounts and respond to all guest inquiries
  • Handle and document guest requests or issues ensure follow-up and resolution
  • Promote hotel facilities and upsell room brands to drive revenue
  • Adhere to hotel policies procedures safety and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Your Skills & Qualifications :

  • Flexible availability for shift work including overnights weekends and holidays
  • Experience using a Property Management System (PMS)
  • Previous front desk or customer service experience
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written); second language an asset
  • Strong administrative skills (e.g. accurate data entry documentation filing)
  • Ability to manage booking systems and process guest check-ins / check-outs
  • Familiarity with handling payments billing and guest account settlement
