Job summary

The Rec Room at Square One in Mississauga is seeking a Front of the House Supervisor. This part-time role leads guest-focused service across the venue, trains team members, and coordinates Groups & Events while ensuring smooth operations of games, coat check and retail.

You will work with a proactive team to meet service standards, drive revenue within budget, and uphold health, safety and liquor service regulations. Apply today.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years supervisory experience in food service, retail or amusement.
• Flexible shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute Groups & Events within the venue to ensure seamless guest service.
• Maintain smooth operation of games, coat check and retail within the Rec Room.
• Strive to achieve sales targets while adhering to budget during daily operations.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists per internal and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver employee training for assigned areas (Bar, Service Floor, Host/Call Center, Amusement, Events).
• Ensure gaming initiatives drive financial performance while managing costs.
• Maintain payroll and attendance records per legislative and Rec Room rules.
• Follow provincial Health, Food Safety and Liquor service requirements.

Our amusement staff members are passionate about gaming and entertainment and look to bring their experience towards providing an exciting and engaging environment.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:· Responsible for executing Groups & Events within venue, providing seamless guest service.· Responsible for maintaining the seamless operation of all games, coat check and retail operation within the Rec Room and providing feedback to the employees and Service Manager to improve the Guest Service experience.· Strive to achieve sales targets while adhering to an established budget during day-to-day operations.· Complete all daily, weekly, monthly checklists and according to internal and external (regulatory bodies) requirements.· Deliver employee training and development for assigned area of responsibility (Bar, Service Floor, Host/Call Center, Amusement, Event Groups / Live Entertainment).· Ensure gaming initiatives are executed accordingly to drive financial performance while keeping costs in line.· Maintain payroll and attendance records in accordance with legislative and the Rec Room requirements.· Follow all provincial Health, Food Safety and Liquor service legislative requirements.· Other duties as assigned.**Qualifications:**The Rec Room may be a perfect fit for you if:· You have 1-3 years of supervisory experience in the food service, retail and / or amusement industry.
