What you will do:

Front of House (FOH) VIP Supervisor

Reporting to the Front of House Manager, your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, training, supporting, coaching, motivating, and managing a dedicated team of FOH employees to ensure VIP Guests enjoy an exceptional service experience.
  • Maintaining high guest satisfaction by monitoring the guest experience consistently.
  • Achieving restaurant HR objectives by enforcing policies, hiring, and reviewing staffing levels for hosts/hostesses, servers, and bartenders to maximize productivity.
  • Creating an engaging, memorable ambiance in VIP areas by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, flatware, dinnerware, monitoring food presentation, and maintaining a clean dining area.
  • Reconciling end-of-night funds and managing stress in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proactively solving problems and resolving conflicts through analysis, critical thinking, and flexibility, following up with guests to ensure satisfaction when issues arise.
What you need to succeed:
  • A passion for hospitality and a commitment to service excellence in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to initiate innovative sales and food service activities.
  • Safe food handling and Smart Serve certification is preferred.
  • A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ideally, a college or hospitality degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a bar, licensed restaurant, or similar environment.

  • Good Communication Skills: Friendly with strong communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with guests and employees of all demographics.
  • Outgoing Personality: Enjoys interacting with others.

  • FOH Operational Skills: Capable of counting, weighing stock, and determining order amounts.
  • Hospitality Acumen: Maintains professionalism in a hospitality environment.
