Job Posting – Front of House (FOH) Manager
Chick-fil-A West Edmonton Mall is seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House (FOH) Manager to lead and oversee our bustling restaurant operations. This role is ideal for a passionate leader with at least 12 months of leadership experience in the front of house within the restaurant or hospitality industry. As a FOH Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team, driving profitability, and maintaining high operational standards to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage: Oversee daily FOH operations, ensuring a high standard of service, quality, and cleanliness.
  • Team Development: Train, mentor, and coach a team of front-line team members to deliver exceptional service and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Shift Management: Take ownership of shift profitability by managing labor, food costs, and operational efficiencies.
  • Guest Service: Manage guest interactions, ensuring service recovery when needed and upholding Chick-fil-A’s hospitality standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, as well as Chick-fil-A’s service models, such as Winning Hearts Every Day and First & Second Mile Service.
  • Performance Optimization: Set clear goals for speed of service, order accuracy, and team productivity. Continuously monitor and adjust to maintain high performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Make quick, effective decisions to resolve challenges that may arise during shifts, including guest concerns and team issues.
  • Financial Stewardship: Drive profitability by effectively managing food costs, labor scheduling, and operational expenses during your shifts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other leaders and the Operator to ensure smooth restaurant operations and a high-performance culture.
Requirements
  • 12+ months of leadership experience in the front of house, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Proven experience in running profitable shifts, managing labor, and controlling costs.
  • Ability to motivate, develop, and coach team members, ensuring they meet Chick-fil-A's high standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with both guests and team members.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems under pressure while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
