We are looking for a part-time Front of House Assistant, working for a fantastic organisation, based in Cambridge City Centre. You will be providing daily cover across the core hours of 12.00 – 14.00 Monday – Friday.

As part of the Facilities Management team, you will contribute to the smooth running of the building and ensure that visitors are met with the highest standards of welcome and information.

Ideally, you will have previous experience within a similar role. You will need to be able to demonstrate first class Customer Service skills, be a confident communicator and willing and able to work as part of a team.

Key Duties

  • First point of contact for visitors to the office
  • Escort visitors/contractors throughout the premises
  • Book and set up meeting rooms, make refreshments for visitors
  • Overseeing Contractors whilst on site
  • Order stationery, pack away deliveries and oversee stock

Skills & Experience

  • As a small support team, a “can do” attitude and a willingness to adapt and learn new things is essential
  • Self-motivated with a positive outlook
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, ability to multi-task, calm under pressure
  • A practical, logical thinker, resourceful, reliable
  • Warm and personable, honest and trustworthy
  • First class written and oral communication skills, good attention to detail
  • Comfortable with computers: Microsoft, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
