Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Toronto is seeking a Front-End Engineer to collaborate with experienced developers, delivering user-facing software that drives customer satisfaction and scalable UX across AWS products.

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
  • 3+ years of professional front end development experience
  • Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of agile software development methodology experience
  • Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon’s package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D insurance), Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and other resources to improve health and well-being.
