Job summary

Sobeys is seeking team members in Halifax to provide friendly, professional service at the front end. You will handle service requests, payments, and transactions with accuracy while upholding cash-handling procedures and contributing to a positive team environment.

No prior experience is required; basic math skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting are valued as you support other departments and help maintain the customer service desk area.

Qualifications

• Partial high school.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to meet customer needs
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer while following company policies and procedures
• Manage lotto services
• Process utility payments, rentals, and transactions
• Perform negative transactions such as refund or return transactions
• Assist in Front End Department functions
• Maintain customer service desk area
• Assist other departments and functions as required
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
• Perform administrative duties as required
