Walmart Canada in Fort McMurray is seeking a friendly cashier to greet customers, handle transactions quickly, and support the store’s everyday operations. You will promote store programs, assist with bagging, and help customers use self-checkout while maintaining accuracy and security.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering courteous service in a fast-paced retail setting, with starting pay of CAD 19.30 per hour.

Responsabilidades

• Greets all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Processes all purchase transactions efficiently, including deactivation of merchandise with respect to the EAS Program.
• Promotes store sponsor programs, i.e. Credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educating and supporting customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.
