Job summary

Walmart Canada is hiring for a cashier position to support and process transactions while delivering exceptional customer service. You will greet customers, handle purchases, promote sponsor programs, assist with bagging and loading, and maintain cash handling integrity.

Role includes ensuring safe practices, referring items to supervisors when needed, and guiding customers on self-checkout options. The position starts at a minimum rate of pay of $17.65 per hour in Canada.

• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educating and supporting customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.
