Job summary

Walmart Canada in Steinbach, MB is hiring for a front-end associate. You will greet customers, handle purchases, and support charitable programs while keeping a clean, safe store area and protecting cash handling integrity.

You will assist with bagging, loading merchandise, and referring complex queries to supervisors. Training in self-checkout usage is provided to optimize checkout efficiency.

• Refers more complex service to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educates customers on the use of self-checkout options.

• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings..
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educating and supporting customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.15.
