Job summary

Sobeys is expanding its team in Huntsville with friendly, customer-focused cashiers. As a cashier, you will help customers quickly and accurately process transactions, maintain a balanced cash drawer, and assist with inquiries at the front end.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service processing transactions to meet customer needs.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer following company policies and procedures.
• Operate Customer Service Desk following all procedures for lottery sales, refunds, bottle returns and inquiries.
• Maintain Front End Department merchandise.
• Participate in the training of junior staff.
• Adhere to, and implement all applicable company standards.
• Support additional departments and functions with other duties as required.
