Job summary

FreshCo / FreshCo Chalo in Burnaby is seeking friendly cashiers to deliver fast, accurate checkout service and a welcoming store experience. You will process transactions, manage the cash drawer, and assist at the Customer Service Desk including lottery, refunds and bottle returns.

Ideal candidates have basic numeracy, can work independently in a busy environment, and are eager to support front-end operations and junior staff training while upholding company standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service processing transactions to meet customer needs.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer following company policies and procedures.
• Operate Customer Service Desk following all procedures for lottery sales, refunds, bottle returns and inquiries.
• Maintain Front End Department merchandise.
• Participate in the training of junior staff.
• Adhere to, and implement all applicable company standards.
• Support additional departments and functions with other duties as required.
