Starting Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Job Description

• Provide professional, courteous, timely, and accurate guest service at the Front Desk.
• Train new Front Desk staff members and provide support, coaching, and ongoing feedback to ensure the team is working as per hotel standards.
• Help create a positive, encouraging, and motivating Front Desk environment.
• Serve as escalation point for guest issues and coordinate solutions quickly and professionally by working with other departments.
• Work with other members of Front Office leadership to ensure smooth Front Desk operations.
• Make arrangements for special requests, VIP accommodations, and distribution of VIP lists to appropriate departments.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working at a hotel front desk with one year working at the Supervisory level.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Experience in Opera is an asset.
• Customer-service oriented.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Responsible problem-solving skills.
• Keen attention to detail, even when under pressure.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
