Job summary

A leading speech therapy clinic in Southern Ontario is seeking an administrative assistant to join its collaborative team. The role involves key administrative tasks such as managing correspondence, supporting billing functions, and maintaining organization within a busy clinic environment. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, and have experience with office software.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English, with strong working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Previous experience as administrative assistant desired.
  • Knowledge of SEO and Social Media Marketing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Check voicemail and respond to emails.
  • Complete billing tasks including invoices and receipts.
  • Create reports using referral tracking log.

Job description

The Speech Specialists are a highly experienced group of Speech Language Pathologists, Speech Language Associates, Behavioural Therapists, and Occupational Therapists that provide private in-home and clinic-based services for clients across Southern Ontario. We provide individualized and comprehensive assessments as well as unique treatment programs for each of our clients. Our large and diverse team strongly believes in a multi-disciplinary and family centered approach to therapy.

Job Description :

Our goal is to provide a work environment that is collaborative, energetic, and welcoming to all our therapists, employees, and practitioners.

The job involves various administrative responsibilities, such as :

  • Checking voicemail and responding to e-mails
  • Using referral tracking log to create reports
  • Completing billing tasks such as sending invoices, receipts, and payment statements using Stripe.

Candidate must be able to :

  • Speak, read, and write English fluently. Have a strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Display great communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant an asset
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and Social Media Marketing an asset
