The Front Desk Associate is a friendly and courteous individual who consistently delivers excellent service, fosters positive customer satisfaction and loyalty, and promotes Ignite Fitness Holdings-Planet Fitness Mission, Vision, and Values. The role requires multitasking skills with a friendly demeanor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Welcome and exit members confidently, professionally, and courteously with greetings and farewells.
  • Anticipate members' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all members.
  • Provide efficient telephone service, answering calls promptly and knowledgeably, ensuring complete and accurate information.
  • Use strong communication and problem-solving skills to resolve customer concerns, ensuring a pleasant experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the club for up to 70% of the shift.
  • Deliver prompt, efficient customer service with high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accept payments from customers, give change and receipts.
  • Drive revenue by communicating product benefits and promotions to customers.
  • Answer customer questions and provide information about business procedures and policies in a friendly manner.
Minimum Skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong work ethic with decision-making and problem resolution skills.
  • Self-starter with initiative, minimal supervision.
  • Flexible with rotating schedules.
  • Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and hardworking.
  • Physical ability to talk, hear, sit, stand, handle objects, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 18 years or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months face-to-face customer service experience in retail or one year in fitness preferred.

Hours vary; initial training hours may differ. Discuss availability with the Hiring Manager or note it on your application. Weekday and weekend hours based on club needs. Open or flexible availability is a plus.
