Job description

Job Title: Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for our guests and manage all aspects of their accommodation experience. Responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities. If you have a passion for customer service and hotel industry experience, we would like to meet you. Your goal will be to create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
  2. Manage online and phone reservations
  3. Inform customers about payment methods and verify credit card data
  4. Register guests, collecting contact details and stay dates
  5. Welcome guests and assign rooms
  6. Provide information about the hotel, rooms, rates, and amenities
  7. Respond to client complaints promptly and professionally
  8. Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and well-furnished
  9. Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIPs and events
  10. Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate
  11. Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Requirements and Skills
  1. Experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role
  2. Familiarity with hotel reservation software like Cloudbeds and RoomKeyPMS
  3. Understanding of travel planning websites such as Booking and TripAdvisor
  4. Excellent customer service attitude
  5. Strong communication and organizational skills
  6. Degree in hotel management is a plus
Additional Details
  • Experience: Required
  • Languages: English – Advanced
  • Employment: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm and 12am-8am shifts
  • Salary: $20 – $25 hourly
