Front Desk Agent

Job Details:

• Job Type: Full time
• Schedule: Flexible schedule is essential. Must be available to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Wage: Starting at $19.00/hour

Members of our Front Desk Team can look forward to performing the following tasks:

• Attend to all concerns of the guest proactively and professionally
• Ensure the satisfaction of all guests with a consistent positive attitude
• Review all guest reservations to ensure accuracy
• Review group resumes and follow up accordingly on any actionable items
• Ensure rates and account folios are set up and managed correctly
• Communicate key information to appropriate departments and colleagues
• Ensure special requests by guests are completed in a timely manner
• Maintain and balance a cash float during each shift
• Provide services to guests including: check in/out, telephone inquiries, luggage handling, and taking reservations
• Provide guests with the information they require.
• Answer questions pertaining to events/activities and provide directions regarding their destination

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Flexible schedule is essential. Evenings, Weekend, Holiday and overnight are required
• 1-2+ Years’ Experience in Front Office Operations, Housekeeping or Rooms preferred
• Knowledge in Opera or other Property Management Systems is a strong asset
• Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset
• Microsoft Office product knowledge required
• Positive, professional, motivating personality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passionate about guest service and hospitality
• Position may be subject to a criminal background check
