Job Description

As a Front Desk Agent, you will have the authority to exceed guest expectations and create a lasting positive impression. Your role is crucial as the first point of contact for guests. You will also focus on maximizing room revenue each shift while meeting key financial goals, contributing to a warm, pleasant, and memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor during all guest interactions and respond appropriately to complaints.
  • Ensure the front desk, lobby, and guest entrance are welcoming and well-maintained for optimal first impressions.
  • Answer phones and greet guests promptly and courteously, adhering to Westin/Marriott brand standards.
  • Track arrivals, departures, and in-house activities; organize VIP amenities when appropriate.
  • Book reservations via phone, in person, or online efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and communicate professionally across departments.
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs, process transactions, and provide information about hotel services and room locations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Preferences
  • Minimum of one year experience in a full-service or select-service hotel is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lightspeed PMS is an asset.
  • Tech-savvy with strong communication skills.

Working Conditions

This role may involve day, afternoon, or evening shifts, including occasional night audits. It requires long periods of standing, lifting, and bending. Some independent work and exposure to cold air may occur due to desk location.
