Job summary

Kal Tire is seeking a Front Counter Sales Representative in the GTA with locations in Vaughan, Etobicoke, and Mississauga. You’ll be the first contact for customers, helping them choose products and services while keeping the service flow moving.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, preparing quotes, processing invoices, vehicle check-ins, parts lookup, and maintaining records. The role may be permanent or temporary with full-time hours depending on contract.

Qualifications

• Automotive retail experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license is an asset

As a Front Counter Sales Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact in the store, helping customers choose the right products and services while keeping things moving. This could be a permanent opportunity or a temporary position with full-time hours for the duration of the contract, depending on your preference.

You’ll be part of a team that works together, supports each other, and delivers a consistent experience for every customer.

• Complete vehicle check-ins, including gathering mileage, tire condition, and service details (outdoors in all weather)
• Look up parts, pricing, and availability using internal systems
• Prepare invoices and process transactions accurately
• Answer calls, book appointments, and maintain accurate customer records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work closely with the shop team to ensure a smooth customer experience

Requirements

• Previous customer service and sales experience
• Interest in automotive (tires, basic vehicle knowledge, or parts lookup is an asset)
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong communication skills with a practical, customer-first approach
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license is an asset
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs as required
• Team-oriented and committed to working safely

Shifts will be scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
