Glass Doctor Barrie is seeking a Front Counter Associate to greet customers and support showroom operations. This entry-level role offers on-the-job training, basic math tasks, and opportunities to learn about our glass, mirrors, and related products.

You will answer calls, assist walk-ins, take measurements, process payments, and keep the showroom tidy. No prior glass experience required; we value a positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Learn about different types of glass, mirrors, screens, and their everyday applications.
• Use a tape measure to take approximate measurements and become comfortable working with basic dimensions.
• Enter customer information and job details accurately into our system.
• Assist with customer pickups, drop-offs, and processing payments.
• Keep the showroom, front counter, and customer areas clean, tidy, organized, and welcoming.
• Help with general administrative tasks and support your teammates when needed.

You don't need to know anything about glass — we'll teach you! We're more interested in finding the right person who enjoys helping people, takes pride in their work, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Position Overview

We're looking for a friendly, outgoing, and organized Front Counter Associate to be one of the first faces our customers see when they walk through our doors.

First impressions matter to us! We want someone who genuinely enjoys greeting people, makes customers feel welcome, and takes pride in keeping our showroom looking its best.

This is an entry-level position with hands-on responsibilities and opportunities to learn about our products and services.

Education & Experience

• No glass industry experience required!

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
