Responsibilities

  • Efficiently receive and sort incoming parts and supplies
  • Inspecting parts upon receipt, and cataloguing/generating parts numbers
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels and keep detailed inventory records
  • Place orders for parts to ensure adequate supply and minimize shortages
  • Entering parts information into applicable systems for tracking
  • Conducting inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain parts storage integrity
  • Take ownership of the organization, cleanliness, and storage of the parts area to enhance operational efficiency
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Ensure that back-ordered parts are delivered promptly to fill orders and communicate updates to the appropriate individuals
  • Support on planning/scheduling coordination through strong storeroom practices

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in storeroom environment, or similar
  • Parts Technician Ticket
  • Proficient in navigation and optimization of asset management systems
  • Experience with MS tools and asset management software, such as SAP
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is considered an asset

Physical demands and working conditions:

  • Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • Must be able to perform constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping
  • Completing Safety, Quality/Food Safety training and adhering to the Safety and Food Safety policies that is required for your area
