Job summary

Oxford Learning Guelph Woodlawn & Hanlon is seeking a Part-Time French & English Tutor for after-school and evening sessions in Guelph. The role requires French immersion, with duties including tutoring up to three students, following Oxford Learning methodologies, and documenting post-lesson notes and updates.

Applicants should hold a relevant degree and OCT certification is an asset; fluent in French and English, with comfort teaching Grades 9–12 and optional math/science instruction.

Qualifications

• CEGEP or Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field.
• OCT Teacher Certification is an asset.
• Fluent in written and spoken French and English.

French Tutor

Pay: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour

Part‑Time French & English Teacher/Tutor Wanted — French Immersion is mandatory. Passionate about helping young minds? Eager to help students succeed in English and French, including French immersion? Gain valuable teaching experience with Oxford Learning Guelph Woodlawn & Hanlon. This position is perfect for anyone who loves working with students, enjoys teaching the ins and outs of language, and is passionate about helping others build their skills in this area.

Tutor‑teachers at Oxford Learning do not have to lesson before class, as all lessons are pre‑planned. Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods.

Position Requirements

All Teacher‑Tutors at Oxford Learning work during after‑school and evening hours (Mon‑Fri: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm). For this role, you must be available during the summer. This role is in‑person. You must be able to commute to this location. Relocation packages are not available. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory. Your students will love working with you, and being reliable is a must. Education

• Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
