Vancouver Waldorf School in North Vancouver is seeking a full-time 0.9 FTE Grade 1-8 French teacher. Classes are 50-minute sessions two to three times per week per grade, aligning with Waldorf and BC curriculums.

The candidate should have university-level French studies, BC Teaching Certification eligibility, and Waldorf classroom experience is preferred; mentoring will be provided as part of the program.

Competenze

• Fluent in written and spoken French and English.

Opening Statement

The Vancouver Waldorf School is seeking a full-time (0.9 FTE) teacher for our Grade 1-8 French program. Classes are 50-minute sessions and run two to three times per week per grade.

The applicant should have French subject teaching experience, have studied university-level French and be able to acquire a BC Teaching Certificate upon hire. Waldorf classroom teaching experience is preferred, and the applicant will be expected to prepare lesson plans per the Waldorf and BC Ministry of Education and Child Care curriculums. Mentoring will be provided

Employment Details

Job Type: Full-Time Permanent

Salary: $57,082 to $90,265/year prorated to 0.9 FTE based on experience and credentials
