Richmond Christian School is hiring for a French Teacher to join us starting the upcoming school year.

About You

The ideal candidate is a BC-certified educator who demonstrates a strong commitment towards Christian Education and has experience teaching French as a second language. You thrive in a collaborative team environment and have the ability to deliver curriculum content in an innovative manner that fully engages students in learning. The teacher also acts as a personal model to deepen students’ understanding of a Biblical worldview and relationship with God.

About the Position

This is a part-time French teaching position at our Elementary Campus, teaching grades 4/5. The teacher will be a part of a team of educators and will have ample prep time each week for collaboration. Class size maximums are 26 for intermediate classrooms.

The posted salary range is based on the 2024/25 salary grid and will be adjusted for the 2025/26 school year.

As this is a part-time teaching position, we welcome any teachers who are currently working as TOCs or have an interest in being a TOC at RCS in addition to teaching French.

Education and Experience

• BC Teaching Credentials or ability to apply for a Teaching License
• Experience and ability to teach French as a second language
• Demonstrated understanding and application of the Universal Design of Learning
• Legal authorization to work and teach in BC
