The French Immersion TTOC works on-call to relieve teachers on a day-to-day basis or short-term assignments.French Immersion and French vacancies are prioritized but other TTOC opportunities also available.

The starting rate for a Teacher Teaching On-Call ranges from $306.73 to $456.31 per day, with placement on theJuly 1, 2023 Teacher Salary Gridbased on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. Additionally, TTOC's are paid $11.00 per day in lieu of benefits.

Posting Deadline: Open during 2023/2024 school year.

To join Abby Schools as a French Immersion TTOC, individuals must have the following qualifications:

• Teacher training with major practicum in French Immersion
• Major/minor in French
• Ability to demonstrate fluency in written and spoken French
• Good spoken and written communication in English
