Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board (ALCDSB) is seeking a French Immersion Teacher for Nicholson Catholic College on a 0.667 FTE Long-Term Occasional assignment, commencing immediately until further notice.

The candidate must hold an OCT certificate with Intermediate/Senior qualifications and demonstrate English and French proficiency. Responsibilities include delivering French Immersion instruction and collaborating with staff to support student success.

Eligibility:

This posting is open to Teachers on the Occasional Teachers list currently employed by Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board and external applicants. Preference will be granted in accordance with the Collective Agreement for OECTA to qualified occasional teachers.

Salary Range:

The salary of a teacher shall be determined in accordance with Article 32 of the OECTA Collective Agreement according to QECO rating and years of experience. Effective September 1, 2025 teacher salaries will range from $56,288.00 to $119,949.00 (based on a 1.0FTE)

NOTE: Filling of long-term occasional assignments shall occur without an in-person interview. Boards shall continue to staff long-term occasional assignments from the 3 most senior qualified applicants who are available for the assignment. Being available for the assignment is defined as not already being assigned to another LTO position during the term of the posted assignment.
