Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in completing their tax returns using TurboImpôt, providing tax advice, reviewing personal tax returns, and managing product inquiries.
  • Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find accurate answers and communicate clearly with clients.
  • This is a virtual, customer-facing role utilizing advanced video communication tools, with documentation of interactions for accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
  • Provide your CRA RepID for client representation services upon onboarding.
  • Experience with professional tax software for complex personal tax returns, including employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, T1135, foreign income, and credits/deductions.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally via video and audio tools.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule of at least 20 hours per week.

Additional Assets

  • Experience with corporate (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

  • Fundamental understanding of tax laws and concepts, with a proactive approach to learning and staying updated.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, active listening, and empathy.

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package, including hourly wages ranging from $24.50 to $33.50 depending on location, performance bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits. Salary is determined based on knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Regular pay equity comparisons are conducted across categories of ethnicity and gender.
