Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in filling out their tax returns using TurboImpôt and other products.
• Review and prepare complete personal tax returns, including complex situations such as employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, foreign income, and credits.
• Provide tax guidance and answer client inquiries via advanced video communication tools.
• Use government websites and professional resources to research and deliver accurate responses in understandable terms.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Ability to provide CRA RepID for client representation.
• Experience with professional tax software for personal and business returns (T2, TP1).
• Excellent customer service skills, with a professional, friendly, and confident communication style.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule of at least 20 hours per week.

Additional assets:

• Experience preparing corporate (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

Skills & Abilities:

• Fundamental understanding of tax laws and concepts, with a proactive approach to continuous learning.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with active listening and empathy.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to escalate issues when necessary.
• Curiosity and resourcefulness in seeking solutions and learning new tools.
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills and interest in learning new software tools.

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package, including hourly pay ranging from $24.50 to $33.50, performance bonuses, equity rewards, and comprehensive benefits.
