Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Receiving Associate to unload merchandise, verify quantities and quality, and process goods receipts using store systems. This role requires operating powered lift equipment and accurately recording items as they arrive in the receiving area.

Successful candidates will have at least one year in receiving, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be comfortable using store software to track inventory and shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year receiving experience.
• Forklift experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Understand carrier unload processes for efficient freight management.
• Follow receiving standards.
• Unload merchandise using designated equipment and repair/maintain area.
• Identify and read packing slips, carrier documents and UPC labels; compare to PO.
• Schedule deliveries and input information into receiving system.
