Job summary

Chicopee is seeking a Seasonal Freestyle Ski Coach to provide on-snow instruction for all ages and skill levels in a fun, safe environment. Coaches focus on skill development, confidence-building, and exceptional guest experiences while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging coaching, maintaining certifications, recording attendance and lesson plans, and communicating with families to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingualism is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, effective coaching instruction tailored to various age groups and abilities.
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and adhere to all teaching and safety standards.
• Keep accurate and organized records of lessons, including attendance and plans.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents to ensure high levels of satisfaction and feedback.
• Ensure participant safety at all times through risk management and situational awareness.
• Be punctual and adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
• Attend all required pre-season corporate and department training sessions.
• Participate in ongoing on-snow and professional development opportunities.
• Actively work towards achieving higher levels of certification.
• Support other departments as needed, based on operational requirements.
