Job description

As a freelance Senior Designer, Motion, you are excited to contribute to the development of creative concepts that translate visually. You are an original thinker and a team player—matching strategic direction with appropriate design results across digital experiences. There’s a line between creative expression and commercial reality—but you’ve got that covered. You’ve tackled the basics of design-related applications—and a keen attention to detail is what makes your work stellar. Most importantly, you are driven by a passion for design.

You Will:

1. Design solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives.
2. Create interactive design concepts.
3. Design mood boards, storyboards, interactive page layouts, site grids, and interface demos.
4. Provide quality assurance on creative deliverables.
5. Build and maintain a rapport with the creative team, account managers, and project managers.

You Have:

1. 4+ years of design and interactive work experience.
2. Strong design portfolio.
3. Strong visual, interactive, and graphic design skills.
4. Solid working knowledge of the latest design tools.
5. Time management skills to handle responsibilities and be prepared.
6. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects, Keynote, Firefly, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
7. An ability to brainstorm and contribute to the bigger idea.
8. Comprehensive understanding of Figma and some of the latest AI tools.
9. Visual design skills including experience design, UI, and branding design.
10. Effective communication skills to articulate creative ideas.
11. A proven ability for fast-paced creative thinking with attention to detail within deadlines.
12. A self-motivated and accountable attitude.

We continually review ranges to address skills, experience, and markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, considering factors such as experience, skills, scope, and responsibilities. For current CM employees, tenure will also be considered.

Salary Range: $60 - $75 CAD
