Role Overview

Currently we are accepting spontaneous applications for the position of Motion Designer, responsible for creating motion design assets across multiple entertainment and gaming clients, guiding the creative look and motion graphic assets flow for all projects in their assigned vertical. What are we looking for? Our Motion Designer has a knack for the following skills :

Communication :

  • Work with the Creative Leads and Project Managers to provide motion design concepts for a variety of executions across entertainment and gaming based social campaigns.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and other creative team members to create original and innovative executions that drive fan engagement.
  • Partner with Social Media Managers and Creative Leads on client calls and asks, when applicable.

Leadership :

  • Offer guidance to junior motion designers in regards to processes, files structures, animation techniques, new AE plugins, etc.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, continuously refining skills, explore new techniques to guide the team and push the boundaries of motion graphics design.

Analytics :

  • Set the quality bar within the team, and help ensure that all creative motion assets meet or exceed DMM standards with Creative Leads.

Business :

  • Identify and leverage key moments from cinematics, long form video, films, etc. to craft unique and visually compelling motion designs for different social media platforms.
  • Contribute to the creative process by bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions to the table for the overall success of the design team.

You'd be a great fit for this role if you have :

  • Experience creating motion graphics and / or social media edits.
  • Strong technical skills and proven ability to use Adobe After Effects, Premiere and Photoshop, Cinema4D a plus.
  • 3+ years experience in a fast-paced social media agency, preferably with exposure to video game and entertainment clients.
  • Superb visual and conceptual skills to solve problems and create novel solutions.
  • Excellent ability to create and pivot creative assets in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of the entertainment industry, including knowledge of current social trends, platform landscape and gamer communities.
  • A never-ending desire to learn new techniques and technology to advance your craft.
  • Ability to design style frames is a plus.
  • Availability to work between 9am and 6pm PST with flexibility for routine weekend coverage.
