Mercor is seeking an AI Training Data Writer for a part-time contract in Toronto, Ontario. You will craft realistic prompts and high-quality responses across journalism, essays, business, and product content, ensuring all work is human-written and meets high-quality standards.

You will work asynchronously about 20 hours per week, maintain tone and audience awareness, and collaborate with the team to support AI model performance.

Qualificações

• Professional experience in journalism, education, content marketing, or related field.
• A strong portfolio or track record of published writing, editorial work, curriculum development, or content strategy.
• Range and versatility in writing across multiple formats, audiences, and levels of formality.
• Sharp instincts for tone, structure, and clarity.
• Strong attention to detail and a high personal bar for quality.

Responsabilidades

• Craft polished, high-quality responses demonstrating strong writing across tone, structure, accuracy, and audience-awareness.
• Adapt voice and style to match context, ensuring a casual Slack message differs from a news explainer or product requirements doc.
• Ensure all work is entirely human-written; LLM-generated content is strictly prohibited.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while enhancing AI model performance.

Type: Contract

Compensation: $45/hour

Commitment: 20 hours/week
