Freelance Google Ads Specialist :

We’re looking for a Google Ads Specialsit to join our team and take ownership of campaign execution across seven winery brands. You’ll work closely with our lead digital strategist to execute, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns that drive ROI and deliver results across key performance indicators.

This role is highly executional — we’ll provide brand strategy, positioning, and messaging. You’ll be responsible for the technical build, campaign setup, targeting, budget pacing, and daily optimizations. You should thrive in performance environments, think outside the box, and love using data to uncover insights that lead to action.

What you’ll do :

  • Build and launch campaigns across Google Ads surfaces, including Search, Display, Shopping, YouTube, and Performance Max where relevant
  • Conduct keyword research, refine targeting strategies, and structure campaigns for efficiency
  • Set up and troubleshoot conversion tracking via GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Monitor campaign performance and make real-time optimizations to improve ROAS
  • Manage bids and budgets to meet monthly KPIs across multiple brands
  • Collaborate with the strategist on creative asset needs and testing plans
  • Deliver weekly performance summaries with actionable insights and recommendations
  • Stay up to date with platform changes, industry benchmarks, and beta opportunities

What you’ll bring :

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns
  • Track record of improving ROAS, reducing CPA, and driving measurable results
  • Strong understanding of GA4 and conversion tracking
  • Comfortable juggling multiple brands and ad accounts in a fast-moving environment
  • Detail-oriented with a bias toward action
  • Bonus : Passion for wine, hospitality, or luxury DTC brands

This is a remote contract-based role with an estimated commitment of 25–35 hours / month. We’re looking to bring someone on quickly to jump into active campaigns right away.
