Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional graphic design, visual design, or creative production experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating polished commercial design work across digital and print.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Ability to work quickly and independently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Experience with digital marketing, email, web, social, and campaign-based design.

This role is ideal for a strong visual designer who can work quickly, interpret creative briefs effectively, and produce polished, brand-aligned work across multiple channels.

Role Overview

The Freelance Designer will be responsible for developing and adapting creative assets across digital and print channels while working closely with internal creative, marketing, and production teams. This role requires strong design fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality creative assets across digital, email, web, social, presentation, and print channels.
• Translate creative briefs and business requirements into polished, brand-aligned design solutions.
• Adapt existing creative across multiple formats, sizes, campaigns, and channels.
• Develop layouts, campaign assets, graphics, and visual concepts from initial direction through final execution.
• Collaborate closely with creative directors, designers, copywriters, marketers, and production partners.
• Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining consistency and design quality.
• Prepare production-ready files and ensure all final assets meet technical specifications.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities while meeting tight deadlines.Maintain consistency with established brand standards, templates, and visual guidelines.
• Support high-volume creative production as needed across ongoing campaigns.

Role Requirements

• 4+ years of professional graphic design, visual design, or creative production experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating polished commercial design work across digital and print.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong layout, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy skills.
• Experience designing for digital marketing, email, web, social, and campaign-based creative.
• Strong understanding of production requirements and file preparation.
• Ability to work quickly and independently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Banking, financial services, agency, or other highly regulated industry experience is considered an asset.
• Experience working within established brand systems and templates is strongly preferred.
