About Us

Metropolitan Hospitality is a growing Vancouver Island-based Hotel and Restaurant Management company.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

We’re always looking for new ways to raise the bar. So we’re searching for a Sales Director with a proven track record of driving sales and smashing targets to help us fill our rooms, meeting rooms, and establish and maintain good local customer relationships.

Every day is different, but your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing daily sales activities and collaborating with our operations team to deliver sales and excellent experiences.
  2. Achieving all personal and team sales goals to maximize profitability.
  3. Creating and implementing sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, and boost meeting room occupancy and banquet sales.
  4. Producing and reviewing monthly reports, utilizing Salesforce to track calls and activities.
  5. Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and external contacts.
Requirements

This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to travel locally as needed. A personal vehicle is required.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel, sales, and marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of local businesses and current business trends.
  • Must speak the local language(s).
  • Other languages are a plus.
