Job summary

Kibbi is seeking a skilled tradesperson for woodworking, maintenance and repair tasks across multiple locations in Canada. The role involves reading blueprints, preparing layouts and estimating costs for labour and materials. You will measure, cut and assemble wood and other materials, and perform on-site servicing and repair of structures and components.

Experience in maintenance and repair is an asset. Working hours include early morning, evening, shift, and flexible options, with a typical 30

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs.
• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Estimate costs and materials.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
• Repair defective or damaged metal and wood components.
• Perform on-site servicing and repair.
