Location: 6210 Davies Rd NW Edmonton, AB T6E 4M9

Workplace: On site

Salary: $35.55 per hour, 35 hours per week

Terms: Permanent, Full-time

Schedule: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning

Start date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Perform pre-operational inspection
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, shoring, and barricades
  • Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to support structures
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Clean up chemical spills and contaminants
  • Remove rubble and debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed construction machines or equipment
  • Direct traffic near construction sites
Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
