Job Requirements and Responsibilities

Minimum Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Physical and Work Conditions:

• Fast-paced environment
• Physically demanding tasks up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Key Tasks:

1. Load, unload, and transport construction materials
2. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
3. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
4. Level earth to fine grade specifications
5. Clean and pile salvaged materials
6. Perform routine maintenance work
7. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
8. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
9. Direct traffic at or near construction sites
