Job summary

The Michaels Companies in GUELPH, ON is seeking a Store Associate to engage customers, assist with framing solutions, and support daily store operations. You will help customers select products, manage framing orders, and ensure accurate, on-time service in a busy retail setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe store, adhering to SOPs and safety programs, and supporting omnichannel processes. Evening and weekend shifts are expected.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching. Ability to move throughout the store and remain standing for long periods. Lifting heavy boxes and frames, and accessing high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.

Work Environment

Public retail store setting, with most public areas climate controlled. Some stock rooms may not be climate controlled. Occasional outdoor work for retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. Frame shop contains a glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Compensation

Total Base Pay Range: $17.85 - $20.75 per hour.
