Job description

Store - ORILLIA, ON

Build customer relationships while creating memorable framing solutions for their art. Help customers shop our store and find what they’re looking for. Provide a safe, clean, and clutter-free environment.

Major Activities

  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company policies to ensure compliance and standards.
  • Use Elevated ABC Deliver to build relationships with customers and create custom framing solutions, aiming to meet sales and production goals.
  • Complete framing orders with quality and timeliness.
  • Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and replenishment.
  • Deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in locating products, and ensure the store is well merchandised and stocked.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Interact respectfully with others, remain positive, and promote the organization’s vision and values.
  • Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes.
  • Operate cash register and handle cash transactions according to standards.
  • Acknowledge customers, assist with locating products, and provide solutions.
  • Assist with Omni-channel processes.

Other duties as assigned

Minimum experience required

  • Basic computer and measuring skills.
  • Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutters.

Preferred experience

  • Retail experience.
  • Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Physical Requirements

  • Bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Standing for long periods.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and frames; accessing high shelves with ladders.

Work Environment

  • Public retail store setting with climate-controlled areas and some outdoor work.
  • Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
