The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) invites applications for Long Term Occasional teaching roles at Glen Cairn Public School. We seek creative, dynamic, and committed teachers to join our learning community dedicated to equity and excellence.

Ideal candidates will support the OCDSB Strategic Plan by fostering a positive and inclusive school climate, collaborating with staff, and engaging with students and the community. A possible extension is noted for the position.

All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified. If you are fully external to the OCDSB, you may apply to this posting if you have the required qualifications.
Please be advised that our order of consideration for Elementary LTO's is as follows:

• Current elementary occasional teacher applicants, followed by
• Qualified external applicants.

Process for selection

A minimum of 3 qualified applicants will be offered an interview, including:

• At least three (3) teachers, who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB, and who have the required OCT qualifications and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.
• If fewer than three (3) qualified applicants apply, all qualified applicants will be interviewed.
