Job summary

Capital One Canada is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Canada Finance team. You will perform financial modeling and ongoing analysis of the portfolio to influence strategic decisions across the organization.

The role collaborates with FP&A and business managers, handling forecasting, actuals, and performance monitoring, while driving automation and insightful reporting for leadership.

Qualifications

• MBA, CPA or CFA preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Strong teamwork and timely results expectation.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting and actuals management, lead P&L forecast and load items into financial data system.
• Prepare month-end accrual and reclass entries.
• Perform month-end variance analysis and commentary.
• Manage relationships with Credit, Product and business contacts.
• Be the face of Finance for portfolio P&L questions.
• Prepare materials for senior executive presentations and reporting.
• Develop portfolio-specific forecast models.
• Monitor quarterly/semi-annual/annual performance.
• Lead automation projects and enhance reporting tools.
