Job summary

Q-Line Trucking is seeking a Financial Analyst, FP&A to support planning, forecasting, and decision-making. This CPA-focused role bridges accounting with strategic analysis, offering exposure to a transportation and logistics business.

You will work with finance and cross-functional leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights, develop models, and strengthen FP&A capabilities as the company evolves.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–5 years of post-designation professional experience.
• Experience working within, advising, or auditing an organization with ~25 million+ annual revenue.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated financial modelling capability.
• Previous FP&A experience is an asset, but not required.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, manufacturing, construction, distribution, or other complex environments is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support and continually improve annual budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecast processes.
• Analyze actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods identifying key drivers, risks, opportunities, and trends.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity models for revenue, profitability, expenses, capital, and cash-flow planning.
• Partner with operational leaders to translate activity into meaningful financial insight.
• Build financial models and business cases for investments and strategic initiatives.
• Develop management reporting, dashboards, KPI packages, and forward-looking analysis.
