Qualifications

Trouw Nutrition is seeking an FP&A Analyst for our Puslinch, ON office. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting decision-making across BU North America. This position involves financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and model development to support strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial statements and conduct variance analysis to generate actionable insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, supply chain, marketing) to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and strategic initiatives
  • Present findings and recommendations at monthly Business Review Meetings
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Create standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards
  • Apply digital capabilities to drive transformation and innovation

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • Preferred 2 to 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, particularly in the manufacturing sector
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts and analytical techniques
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI is a must-have
  • Power Automate, OneStream, and M3 are a plus
  • Familiarity with data analytics and Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
