Job summary

AMZ Prep is hiring three product managers to build its technology. This founding product role lets you own a product area end to end, from strategy to adoption, working closely with engineers and operators to turn logistics problems into software used by teams.

You will collaborate with leadership, customers and warehouse teams with no layers between you and the problem, bringing senior-level product judgment to a small, fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of product management experience owning software products from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Track record of taking a product from zero to one, or scaling an existing platform, with clear results.
• Strong technical depth with APIs, data models and data pipelines.
• Working SQL and analytical skills to investigate problems and prove outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own discovery, strategy, roadmap and delivery for your product area from first customer conversation through launch and adoption.
• Define the product vision and a multi-quarter roadmap tied to revenue, margin and customer retention.
• Work in a tight product trio with engineering and design from the start; participate in architecture discussions.
• Write clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for engineers.
• Design systems that connect warehouse management, order management, transportation and billing.
• Use SQL and product analytics to set baselines, prioritize and measure impact.
• Find practical uses for AI/automation and test accuracy in operations.
• Spend time with warehouse staff to observe where processes break.
• Own testing, rollout, and adoption with operations and customer-facing teams.
• Report outcomes such as time saved, cost per order and customer adoption.
