AgentAstro is an AI platform that helps medtech companies accelerate FDA 510(k) approvals. We use LLMs and public FDA data to automate predicate device analysis and generate submission-ready content. Our MVP is live, and we’re onboarding our first paying subscribers this summer.

We’re now hiring a Founding Engineer to lead backend and AI development as we move from MVP to scalable product. You’ll join a small technical team that includes a front-end developer, our original MVP engineer, deisgners and subject matter experts.

What You’ll Own

Backend architecture — APIs, data pipelines, scaling, auth, Stripe integration

LLM development — Build modular workflows using Gemini, Vertex AI, and LangChain

Regulatory AI pipelines — Automate generation of FDA-aligned submission content

Vector search + embeddings — Parse and index unstructured FDA data (HTML, XML, PDFs)

Product execution — Translate roadmap into milestones using ClickUp; collaborate cross-functionally

Are fluent in Python and GCP / Firebase

Have built LLM-powered apps using Gemini, OpenAI, or Vertex AI

Know your way around semantic search, unstructured text parsing, and prompt engineering
