About More at Home Society

At More at Home Society, we are a grassroots organization in our founding year, dedicated to enhancing seniors' quality of life by ensuring equitable access to essential home care services through financial subsidies. Our innovative programs support seniors in remaining in their homes and communities across British Columbia. By including low-income seniors, we help alleviate family caregiver burdens, support our communities, and reduce pressure on public health and home care facilities.

Research shows that 1 in 9 seniors in public long-term care could be supported at home, and those aging in place often enjoy a life expectancy six times longer than institutionalized seniors. We believe every senior deserves dignity, security, autonomy, and the ability to choose their healthcare options.
