Location of Work:

Edmonton, Alberta

  • Drive-in and drive-out; Edmonton and surrounding area applicants will be considered due to location of the project
  • Shift-based position working five days on and two days off, working 10-12 hours per day
  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Project scope completion: October 2025
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Previous experience operating Soilmec and Bauer drill rigs is considered an asset
  • Fully understands all safety aspects of equipment operations on an infrastructure site
  • You are a team player with a strong safety record, who takes pride in their work
  • Successfully complete all necessary paperwork legibly and correctly
  • Safe and productive operations of large, tracked drill rigs with the ability to perform small mechanical repairs if required
  • Daily pre-use and post-use inspections of equipment
  • Ability to read and understand engineered drawing sets and apply best practices in the field
  • Ability to problem solve in the field with input from supervision
Qualifications:
  • Experience working on large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects
  • Experience installing permanent secant piles and large diameter drilled shafts
  • Successfully completes a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • CSTS 2020 and Ground Disturbance Level 2 certifications
  • Strong commitment to health and safety on the worksite
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
