Overview
The Foster Parent Recruitment Manager is responsible for leading recruitment efforts in Family Foster Care Parent home development. The role involves developing territories, increasing targeted populations, creating sales plans, building rapport with potential candidates, and raising awareness about the need for families. Additionally, the manager will guide new families through the SAFE home study process, coordinate with the recruitment team to mitigate applications, and oversee homes through the licensing process.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute recruitment and marketing strategies for foster parent home development.
- Lead recruitment discussions with the state recruitment team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Maintain current data in the Foster Parent Pipeline and coordinate weekly with the recruitment team.
- Identify growth opportunities within the team through listening and solution-oriented selling.
- Serve as a leader within the recruitment team.
- Manage multiple recruitment opportunities, focusing on follow-up and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with all agency and state licensing requirements.
- Complete certification processes with foster parents, including documentation.
- Implement the company's consultative selling strategy to build relationships with referral sources.
- Participate in strategic planning and team analysis.
- Coordinate with the Director for community outreach, presentations, and addressing referral source issues.
- Negotiate contracts with facilities, insurance companies, and managed care organizations.
- Engage in community and organizational programs to promote professional growth.
- Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
- Support the company's philosophy and promote a safe, respectful environment.
- Implement procedures to meet home development goals.
- Complete required in-service training and adhere to dress and hygiene standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Counseling, Behavioral Science, Public Administration, or related fields.
- At least three years of relevant experience in child placement or related agencies preferred.
- Experience in resource development, recruitment, and retention preferred.
- Experience in marketing, fundraising, or event coordination is advantageous.
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting, with sales or insurance background preferred.
- State-specific foster parent pre-service training certification.
- SAFE home study certification preferred; company provides training.
- Strong recruiting mentality and understanding of the recruitment lifecycle.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Knowledge of recruiting strategies, including social media.
- Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
